Ascent Aerospace Appoints Michael Mahfet as President of the Integration & Automation Group

SANTA ANA, Calif., Oct. 3, 2016 – Ascent Aerospace announced today the appointment of Michael Mahfet as President of its newly expanded Integration & Automation Group (“I&A Group”). Michael will lead the I&A Group with a specific focus on integrating the various businesses and expanding the I&A Group’s customer and market orientation. Michael will leverage a strong portfolio of technological products and solutions that provide world-class assembly line integration with factory automation for the aerospace market.

Michael has an impressive career in expanding businesses through the advancement of operational excellence, technical leadership and market focus. As Vice President and General Manager of ABB Robotics North America, Michael led the transformation and expansion of ABB’s Robotics Business significantly. In his most recent role as Group Vice President and Head of Account Management, he was instrumental in aligning and building a strong performance culture within the marketing and sales organizations across all the ABB businesses in the Americas.
