The site coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day running of all or part of an installation site. He or she oversees all aspects of the project, from task completion to team coordination. He or she is responsible for technical preparation and follow-up, coordinating the various trades, ensuring site safety and adjusting the availability of resources to meet deadlines. He/she is Ascent Integration’s representative on the site and acts as the Project Manager’s interface with the end customer.
Main responsibilities:
-Take part in the preparation of the site in terms of technical aspects (assembly instructions, layout, etc.), logistics (preparation of the site facilities, rental of loading equipment, etc.) and organization (site access, prevention plan, authorizations…).
– Supervise and coordinate all activities on site, ensuring that they comply with plans, specifications and safety standards.
-Plan and organize the human and material resources needed to achieve the project’s objectives: organize and distribute tasks according to the trades and the site schedule, in accordance with the project manager.
-Working with the project team and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure the quality of the work.
-Ensuring compliance with safety standards on the worksite and implementing corrective measures in the event of non-compliance.
-Manage relations with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring their performance, delivery times and compliance with contractual requirements.
-Preparing regular reports on site progress, problems encountered and proposed solutions. Prepare and manage customer daily site reporting.
-Participating in the planning and coordination of regulatory inspections.
Know-how:
-Technical knowledge of the various assembly of structures (mechanics, electricity, topography, interpretation of plans, assembly of equipment)
-Estimation of the resources required to complete the project within the planned deadline
-Use of basic IT tools (Excel, Word, Power point)
-Ability to synthetize and formalize progress (site reports)
-Knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental regulations
-Knowledge of employment law regulations relating to workers on construction sites
-Written and spoken professional English needed
