Macomb, MI – August 19, 2022 – Ascent Aerospace, a leading provider of aerospace tooling, factory automation, and integration services, is excited to announce the addition of Anthony O’Donovan as Chief Operating Officer based in Macomb, Michigan. In this role, Anthony will actively lead engineering and manufacturing operations across all sites.
With nearly 30 years in global manufacturing, development and project management, Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. As a passionate leader focused on world-class operational excellence and performance, his goals for learning, developing talent and empowering people to optimize their full potential is what motivates him every day.
Most recently, he held the position of Executive Director of Operations for Aptiv, a global automotive supplier based in Troy, MI. Prior to that role, Anthony worked at Webasto Roof Systems from 2013 to 2020, where he held various executive positions throughout the organization. Most notably, Global VP of Operations – charging, VP of Operations Americas, VP of R&D and Program Management Americas. There, he led teams through growth, change and development as a world-class supplier of integrated systems. Prior to Webasto, Anthony worked at Inalfa, a global automotive supplier. Working in the UK, USA and the Netherlands, he has held various managerial and executive positions and worked with teams all over the world.
Anthony holds degrees from Birmingham City University in Management of Manufacturing Systems and Manufacturing Engineering.
